Banafsheh Sayyad, the founder of Dance of Oneness®, is a Persian sacred dancer, choreographer, and transformational teacher. Awarded for her innovative dance, she is among the few bearers of authentic Persian dance in the world, an innovator of Sufi dance previously performed only by men, and one of the few artists who has mastered a fusion of high-level dance technique with spiritual embodiment.
Jill Angelo worked for nearly two decades in business management before changing her life’s direction to pursue an inner calling. For the past decade she has traveled extensively, studying and working with a number of leading spiritual and self-help authors. Her Sacred Space practice combines her business acumen with spiritual altruism, and represents an amalgam of the sacred places she visited and the myriad luminaries she has worked with.
Monica Sharma, trained as a physician and epidemiologist, worked for the United Nations for more than 20 years. Currently, she engages worldwide as an international expert and practitioner on leadership development for sustainable and equitable change. She works with the United Nations, universities, management institutions, governments, business, media, and civil society organizations. She is the Tata Chair Professor at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai. She has published and presented over 250 articles in journals and international forums.
Module 1: The Vision of the Fierce Feminine (Recorded November 20)
In this first session, Andrew will present our world crisis as a “Kali event” and show that our only hope of thriving and evolving lies in turning to the Fierce Feminine in total trust and total surrender. Drawing on ancient Hindu texts, he will lay out the four stages of Kali’s dance as they are unfolding, and reveal that we are now in the third stage — the severe stage — that demands urgent transformation, expressed in global sacred action.
He’ll also lay out the four major powers of Kali’s healing that are being born in her dance (reconnection, resistance, resilience, and regeneration); share the three laws that govern relationship with the Fierce Feminine (adoration, surrender, and unrelenting shadow work); and outline the six great blessings that will follow in each module, which together birth the Divine Human.

The Fierce Feminine blesses us with discernment, a lightning sword of truth that she brings down on all our illusions about ourselves, human nature, the world, and the nature of the divine itself. Such a discernment flays all pretensions and dissolves all human vanity in a bath of black acid. Terrible though this process is, the blessing of unconditional compassion for all others born from it, and the radical joy of unconditional love that flowers from the ashes of the false self provide the fuel of all enlightened activity.

Appalling and horrific though it sometimes must be, only through so relentless a surgery could the face of inherent divine consciousness be revealed.

Andrew Harvey is an author, speaker, and founder/director of the Institute of Sacred Activism, an international organization focused on inviting concerned people to take up the challenge of our contemporary global crises by becoming inspired, effective, and practical agents of institutional and systemic change in order to create peace and sustainability.
Andrew has taught at Oxford University, Cornell University, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, The California Institute of Integral Studies, and the University of Creation Spirituality as well as at various spiritual centers throughout the U.S. He was the subject of the 1993 BBC film documentary, The Making of a Modern Mystic, and appears also in Rumi Turning Ecstatic and The Consciousness of the Christ: Reclaiming Jesus for A New Humanity. He is co-author of the bestseller, The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying, and has worked with the great Iranian Sufi dancer, Banafsheh Sayyad, in producing a film, In the Fire of Grace, which marries Sufi-inspired dances to the stages of Rumi’s understanding of the path of Divine Love.
He has written and edited over 30 books and received many awards, including the Benjamin Franklin Award and the Mind Body Spirit Award.
Caroline Myss is a 5-time New York Times bestselling author and internationally renowned speaker in the fields of human consciousness, spirituality and mysticism, health, energy medicine, and the science of medical intuition. Caroline developed the field of Energy Anatomy, a science that correlates specific emotional, psychological, physical, and spiritual stress patterns with diseases. Banafsheh Sayyad, the founder of Dance of Oneness®, is a Persian sacred dancer, choreographer, and transformational teacher. Awarded for her innovative dance, she is among the few bearers of authentic Persian dance in the world, an innovator of Sufi dance previously performed only by men, and one of the few artists who has mastered a fusion of high-level dance technique with spiritual embodiment. Her Dance of Oneness® is a science of embodiment — living our fullest potential through loving our body, our Self and living as a lover.
